Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. What are your session fees, and do you offer sliding scale options?
My standard fee for individual therapy, parenting sessions, and intake sessions is $150. I understand that therapy is an investment, so I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients in need of financial flexibility. Please feel free to contact me to discuss availability.
2. Do you offer free consultations?
Yes! I offer free 15-minute consultations to ensure we're a good fit before beginning therapy. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions and get a sense of how we might work together.
3. What can I ask during the Free Consultation?
-
What is your therapeutic approach or style?
-
How long does therapy typically last?
-
Can you help me with my specific concerns (e.g., ADHD, trauma, parenting issues)?
-
How do I know if I’m making progress in therapy?
-
What should I do if I feel uncomfortable or unsure during a session?
4. What can I expect during our first session?
During our first session, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where we’ll discuss your goals and what brings you to therapy. I’ll gather some background information about your current life situation and previous experiences, while also explaining my confidentiality policy to ensure you feel safe sharing. We'll also talk about how therapy typically works, including session frequency and structure, so you know what to expect moving forward. This session is all about getting to know each other, and I encourage you to ask any questions you may have!
5. What are your fees and cancellation policy?
My fee for all sessions is $150, which includes a range of services such as EMDR, ADHD support, parenting sessions, and other individual therapy services. I have a 24-hour cancellation policy to ensure I can accommodate all clients, and there is a $75 charge for no-shows or late cancellations. However, if I can fill that spot with another client within the same week, it won’t count as a no-show or late cancellation. I appreciate your understanding, and I’m here to support you on your journey!
6. What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
I completely understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes you may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. If you find yourself in that situation, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance so we can make the necessary adjustments. If you need to cancel within that time frame, there is a $75 fee for no-shows or late cancellations, but if I can fit you in or reschedule you for that same week, it won’t count as a no-show or late cancellation. Your well-being is my priority, and I’m here to support you!
7. How can I book a session with you?
Booking is simple! You can schedule directly through my HIPAA-compliant platform, which offers flexible appointment times so you can choose what works best for you. Just click the “Book Appt” button at the top of my website, and it will take you to a link where you can easily select your preferred time. I'm here to help you get started on your journey!
8. Do you take insurance?
Yes! I am currently in network with Aetna and Cigna.
9. Do you have a sliding fee scale?
I understand that therapy can be a financial investment, which is why I offer a sliding fee scale for those who may need financial assistance.
A sliding fee scale is a way to make therapy more affordable based on your income. If you’re facing financial challenges, I can offer you a lower rate for sessions. This means that the cost of therapy can be adjusted to fit your budget while still providing you with the quality care you deserve. My goal is to ensure that everyone has access to the support they need, no matter their financial situation.

Here are my sliding scale rates:
-
$75 to $100 per session for those experiencing lower income or financial hardships.
-
$100 to $140 per session for individuals with a moderate income.
-
$150 for standard sessions if sliding scale options do not apply.

To determine the fee that would work best for you, I encourage you to reach out to discuss your situation. Together, we can find a solution that makes therapy more accessible while ensuring that you receive the quality of care you deserve.
